Daytona trike conversion kit. The suspension is the result of superb
performance engineering and innovation. A race-inspired, opposing
rocker, mono-shock independent suspension design with Vertical
Stablizer™ technology
delivers ultimate handling and cornering ability. Trust us, with our
Daytona trike conversion, your two-wheeled companions will be struggling
to keep up with you on the twisties!
The drivetrain is a marvel of engineering excellence. Purpose built
sprockets and a twin belt drive retain
the stock gear ratio. The belts are a proprietary
material and design, manufactured by Gates,
the industry leader in belt technology
and production. Twin-piston disc brake
calipers are standard equipment, providing
excellent stopping power under
all conditions.
Check out the optional Performance Brake
Upgrade, a drilled rotor with nickel plating
and a super-slick billet aluminum caliper.
A meticulously styled body with our custom-designed LED tombstone taillights will turn heads wherever you may roam. And with our internally mounted Space
Saver™ hinge design and over 6 cubic feet of trunk storage capacity, there’s not much you’ll ever have to leave behind.

For the Daytona Trike
Warranty
 3-year/50,000 mile limited warranty includes parts and labor on material and workmanship defects. Inquire with an Authorized Dealer or California Sidecar for specific terms of the warranty.
Suspension
Hands down, the most innovative suspension engineering design on the market! Based on Indy car technology, the DAYTONA features a vertically stabilized opposing rocker mono shock independent suspension, plus:
- Purpose designed QA1 shock for the Opposing Rocker arm system
- QA1 300Lb. linear wound racing spring designed to accommodate a loaded weight of up to 650lbs. inclusive of accessories, luggage, and passengers. (Lighter spring weights available)
- Optional preload adjuster for simple spring preload adjustment to compensate for varying loads
 Drivetrain
- Twin reduction jackshaft belt drive
- Sprockets – 8620 gas carburized and continuous wire E.D.M. splines with new transmission sprocket.
- Belts – Twin, special construction belts by Gates, featuring 90mm wide belt.
Disc Brake System
Outstanding braking performance is supplied by the standard Varga calipers, 11.5” purpose designed rotors, and braided stainless steel brake lines throughout. To add even more style and performance, check out the PERFORMANCE BRAKE UPGRADE.

Superior Styling & Finish
In typical California Sidecar Trike fashion, we’ve crafted a body with an aggressive, sleek style that perfectly complements the style of the Harley Davidson. The body is equipped with custom tombstone LED taillights that incorporate the brake, running and turn signal lights into one cool chrome unit. Also standard are the rear chrome trim accent strips and 4 LED auxiliary running lights to increase visibility. Each painted body comes with the finest finish in the business. Our in-house fiberglass and paint departments insure the highest degree of quality control and the color match capability is unsurpassed. Bodies are wet sanded and then polished in a two-step process to achieve the amazing paint finish that we demand.

Electric Reverse Gear – Belt Driven
- Requires NO modification to the OEM engine or transmission
- Belt-driven off of our CSC drivetrain by a purpose-built electric gear motor
- Utilizes the CSC gear reduction to minimize power from electric motor
- Option comes installed on the kit from the factory, so there is virtually no extra installation time

Ground Effects
Superbly styled to complement the Daytona trike conversion, our Ground Effects do not decrease ground clearance of the rig. They come complete with turn-signal activated cornering lights, rubber foot recess protectors and logo plaques.

Light Bar w/ Kuryakyn LED Lights
Custom fiberglass light bar with 8 Kuryakyn LED lights increases visibility to other drivers and looks cool doing it. Also available with chrome grill accents (shown) for the LED lights.

Performance Brake Upgrade
Super-charge the braking performance and give your Daytona trike kit a slick custom look. A nickel plated, drilled rotor helps promote faster cooling of the rotor surface and increase braking efficiency. Our purpose built caliper is CNC machined, red-anodized, and engraved with "California Sidecar” and “Daytona”, providing a super-sharp accent to an already artful design. |

StonGard™ Fender Kit
Protect the paint finish on the leading edge of your trike's fenders against rock chips and passenger heel scuff marks with a custom-cut four piece kit of 80 mil clear urethane film. When applied at our factory, the kit comes with StonGard's 3-year limited warranty covering the repair of the trike's finish in the protected areas.

Trailer Hitch Kit
California Sidecar Trike engineered this trailer hitch to be completely invisible when the receiver tongue is not installed. Solid steel plate construction, zinc-plated and attached with Grade 8 fasteners. Comes complete with chrome receiver tongue, D.O.T. certified 1-7/8" ball, hitch pin with safety clip and rings for safety chain attachment. (Ball height is 13")
